Upgrade or downgrade your plan

AdminDex has four plans: Free, Starter, Pro, and Agency. You can move between them at any time from the billing portal. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Before you start
- Free → paid is a fresh Stripe checkout. You'll need a card.
- Paid → paid (e.g. Starter → Pro) is handled inside Stripe and is prorated automatically.
- Paid → Free is a cancellation. Your account stays on the paid plan until the end of the billing period, then automatically drops to Free.
Upgrade from Free to a paid plan
- Click Pricing in the top navigation.
- Find the plan you want and click Upgrade monthly or Upgrade annual. Annual is roughly 17% cheaper across every paid plan.
- You're redirected to Stripe Checkout. Enter your card details and complete the payment.
- On successful payment, Stripe redirects you back to AdminDex and your account is upgraded immediately. You can start using the new features right away.
Switch between paid plans
- Click your email in the top navigation, then Account.
- Click Manage billing. You're redirected to the Stripe Billing Portal.
- In the portal, click Update plan and pick the new plan + cycle.
- Stripe applies the change immediately and prorates your next invoice.
Cancel and drop to Free
- Open the Stripe Billing Portal as above.
- Click Cancel plan.
- Confirm the cancellation. Your account stays on the paid plan until the end of the current billing period, then drops to Free automatically.
What happens next
If you upgrade, paid features unlock the moment Stripe confirms the payment via webhook. If you downgrade, you keep paid features until the end of your billing period — we don't pull the rug mid-month. After downgrade, instances and team members above the new plan's limits remain accessible, but you can't add more until you upgrade again.
Tips
- The Free plan IS the trial. It includes one instance and the document browser, so you can verify AdminDex works against your Meilisearch server before committing to anything paid.
- We don't pro-rate refunds on cancellation, but we don't charge for the unused time either — you keep access until the period ends.
- Annual billing is the best deal across every plan. You can switch from monthly to annual mid-period from the portal.
